Draagvlak provides software for organizing online dialogues. A mix between a citizens' assembly and a consultation that helps governments and civil society organizations make well-supported decisions. When used regularly, these dialogues form an ongoing conversation that builds trust and ensures decisions that align with both people's everyday realities and organizational realities.

Participants share their opinions in their own words, think in terms of 'we' rather than 'I', and feel seen and heard. Decision-makers bring their vision and provide direction through expertise and practical feasibility. The online dialogue strikes a balance between bottom-up and top-down. The process is facilitated by the organization itself, Draagvlak advisors, or a consultancy, and there is an option to add a binding recommendation to the outcome of the dialogue.
